Description
Harrogate's identity is closely tied to its spa heritage and the natural elements; the spa water was a natural healing treatment in the 17th and 18th centuries and its legacy as The English Spa continues today.
The design responds to this history through a restrained palette of natural materials, including stone, iron and textured finishes all set within fluid, interconnected spaces.
The store is organised as a series of carefully framed rooms where fixtures, fittings and partitions have a solid, carved presence. These interventions allow a more deliberate, considered retail experience and help slow the pace of the customer.
