Walmer House

Set within the London borough of Ealing, a new home is proposed in the place of a former tennis pavilion, The proposal introduces a contemporary, well‑proportioned building that sits comfortably in its surroundings while respecting neighbouring amenity. A limited palette of red brick, clay tiles and timber connects the house to its context, while subtle contemporary detailing gives it a clear and cohesive identity.

Sustainability is central to the design, with features such as photovoltaic panels and a high performance building envelope helping to reduce energy use and support long term efficiency. Reclaimed materials will be used where possible alongside innovative mechanical solutions to minimise operational carbon and improve overall building performance.
